This privacy policy is intended to inform you about how your personal data is collected, used, and protected within the scope of the Lesson Radar application. Your security is important to us. Therefore, the personal data you share with us is protected meticulously.
Processing, Storage, and Deletion of Personal Data
Your personal data is processed lawfully and fairly in accordance with the relevant data protection laws, for legitimate purposes, and limited to the purpose for which they are processed; necessary measures are taken to keep them accurate and up to date.
Your personal data, which is carefully preserved for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they are processed, will be deleted and destroyed at the end of this period. This period cannot be less than 1 year and more than 2 years for log files.
Data Controller
According to Data Protection Laws, the data controller is the person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

The Lesson Radar application developed by Mehmet Karaarslan is a "Free" application. The application can be used in the following ways:

- iOS application
The application does not track its users and only collects personal data necessary for it to function.

Purposes of Processing Data
Your personal data is processed by the Lesson Radar application to provide services in accordance with its purpose, fulfill legal obligations, improve service quality, communication, security, and share information with legal authorities when necessary. Your personal data will not be used for purposes other than these.
Transfer of Data
Your personal data collected by the Lesson Radar application will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except for legal obligations. However, it may be shared with our service providers, business partners, and legal authorities to the extent necessary to provide the service and fulfill legal obligations.
The transfer of personal data abroad is only possible if there is an adequacy decision regarding the country to which the transfer will be made, the sectors within the country, or international organizations.
Legal Basis for Data Processing
Your personal data is processed in accordance with KVKK Article 5 and GDPR Article 6 scenarios where explicit consent of the data subject is present, it is necessary for the establishment and performance of the service contract, it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations, or for its legitimate interests; provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Your Rights under GDPR & KVKK
As a user, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed or not.
- Request information if your personal data has been processed.
- Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in compliance with their purpose.
- Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad.
- Request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any.
- Request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under certain conditions (right to be forgotten).
- Request reporting of the operations carried out upon your requests for rectification, erasure, or destruction to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred.
- Object to the processing of your personal data entirely or partially.
- Right to data portability.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
For your applications in line with your legal rights mentioned above, you can contact the data controller at [email protected]. As the data controller, we are obliged to conclude the requests in the application free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If your requests are not met, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in your country.
Data Storage
The Lesson Radar application may store some personal data on your device to fulfill its function in accordance with its intended use. This data is used to remember your application preferences, store your session information, and provide a better user experience. All data is stored securely and is only kept as long as necessary.
Account and Data Deletion
Users can start an account deletion request at any time either from the "Delete Account" action in the in-app "Settings" menu or from our public account deletion page. Once the request is confirmed, access to the account is closed immediately, active sessions are ended, and the deletion process begins.
Except for records that we are legally required to retain, and data that must be kept for fraud prevention, security, or regulatory compliance, personal data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized from our systems within 30 days.
Children's Privacy and Age Limit
Our application appeals to teachers, parents, and students over the age of 13. Lesson Radar does not knowingly or intentionally collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If we detect that a user under the age of 13 has provided personal data to our application, necessary steps will be taken to promptly delete this data from our systems.
Services Used
Analytics and tracking
- Firebase Analytics: Firebase Analytics is used to analyze application usage and user behavior. It provides detailed information about user interactions and conversions.
Notification services
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: Firebase Cloud Messaging is used to send important updates about the application, lesson reminders, and push notifications to users.
Consent and Enforcement
Sharing your personal data with the Lesson Radar application is entirely your choice. This Privacy Policy entered into force on April 14, 2026, and is updated as necessary. You can always review the current version via the application.
